Girls Basketball
The second year of Fall Middle School Girls’ Basketball Clinics saw an increase in participation from year one. The clinics were conducted by the coaching staffs of Bassick, Central and Harding. They were assisted by varsity players from the three schools. The clinics serve as a prelude to the Middle School Basketball League sponsored by our friends at Caribe, which begins play after the holiday break.
Soccer
Rainy weekend weather forced a few Saturday cancellations of the fall soccer program, but couldn’t dampen the spirit of the young players during the sessions that were held. As always, Coach Sal Hanaif of Bassick and his varsity players who served as “Junior Coaches” did a great job in teaching both individual and team skills. All participants said they couldn’t wait until our spring clinics begin in April!
